Manhattan Scientifics Says 20 Million Computer Gamers Gain Access to Novint’s Falcon Gaming TechnologyNovint Falcon Enables Players to Feel Realistic Virtual EnvironmentsJune 25th, 2009NEW YORK, N.Y., -- Manhattan Scientifics (Pink Sheets: MHTX) announced today that its portfolio company, Novint Technologies Inc, (OTCBB: NVNT) has concluded a cooperative partnership with Valve Corporation, a leading video game entertainment software company. Using Novint’s proprietary Falcon controller, player are now able to feel realistic weapon recoil, enemy attacks and vehicle movements as well as the texture of objects, weight, even stickiness and slipperiness. Many industry experts believe the Falcon to be the “next big thing” in computing. The technology was developed by the Sandia National Laboratory and has been licensed exclusively to Novint to market both the hardware and software. Manhattan Scientifics currently owns 1,075,648 shares of Novint common stock or approximately 3% of Novint’s outstanding shares. Manhattan Scientific’s owns exclusive licenses and sublicenses to certain haptics Internet applications acquired from Novint. Valve corporation’s 20 million registered Steam platform users were notified of its compatibility with the Novint Falcon for its Orange Box compilation including Half-Life 2, Portal and Team Fortress 2. Valve plans to soon release additional Falcon support for its leading games.
